The IP919 Pro has taken my diagnostics to the next level. This Xtool IP919 is super fast, has a big screen, and features Topology, which makes everything easier to see and understand. It has the most comprehensive key programming abilities of any scan tool on the market, second only to a dedicated key programmer. I've successfully programmed keys and accessed PIN codes and passwords for Chrysler, Jeep, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, GM, and Honda.
Whats great about the IP919 is that if a manufacturer allows a certain bi-directional functional check or active test, the IP919 can do it. The IP919 is Xtool's top-of-the-line scanner, and it definitely shows. This scan tool boasts 42+ special functions, and the IP919 can display up to 8 graphs at once, all of which are fast and smooth.
The IP919 uses a WiFi VCI, meaning it communicates with the scanner via WiFi instead of Bluetooth. You dont need to be connected to WiFi to use the scan tool; it just means the connection between the scan tool and the VCI is faster and has a greater range.
One thing that really sets the IP919 apart from other Xtool scanners is its ability to program modules for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and VW. This means you can replace modules yourself and get back on the road without a trip to the dealer.

I like how the XTool IP919 has a really user friendly menu that is easy to follow and understand. The IP919 comes in a hard case with a lot of attachments to fit a lot of vehicles.
I just received my IP919 less than a week ago so I can not tell you about the battery life yet. I am expecting the battery to last a long time.
Overall I am very satisfied with my XTool IP919. I also like that the IP919 comes with 3 years of free updates. I recommend the XTool IP919. You can't go wrong with this bidirectional scan tool.
